The restoration of the existing single-family home with a total area of 71m² in Megara, Attica, was completed according to optimal technical specifications. In order to achieve the finest result we utilized up to date construction methods, top notch equipment and excellent building material.

The house was structurally reinforced with metallic elements, a tiled roof was constructed and thermal insulation was installed. We chose metal building for the reinforcement, because of its low weight, short completion time and less interference with the existing structure formation. Thus we avoided more intrusive conventional methods, including confinement reinforcement to existing columns or shotcrete construction of columns and beams. The tiled roof construction employed a wooden frame, due its lower added weight. Insulation was then applied following the optimal coating techniques offered by Smart Building.

The end result in this single family house reconstruction in Megara, Attica, was a success. Our client can now enjoy his stay in a new space, characterized by high energy efficiency, optimal living conditions, as well as impressive aesthetics.
